EPP Completes Acquisitions of McCommas Bluff Renewable Natural Gas Production Facility

Energy Power Partners (EPP), a clean power-focused private equity and infrastructure firm, announced that it has completed its acquisition of the McCommas Bluff renewable natural gas production facility located in Dallas, Texas. EPP purchased majority interests from Clean Energy Fuels, with the remaining interests retained by Cambrian Energy, a long-time strategic partner in the McCommas Bluff project and to EPP.

The McCommas Bluff facility is one of the largest landfill gas to pipeline quality facilities in the United States, with a processing capacity of 15 million cubic feet per day.  The project has exclusive rights to all gas produced by the landfill, and supplies RNG under a long-term contract with an investment grade offtaker.
