EPP Closes Acquisition of Talen Renewable Energy, LLC

SANTA MONICA, CA – Energy Power Partners (EPP), a clean power-focused private equity and infrastructure firm, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Talen Renewable Energy, LLC from Talen Energy. Owned by PPL Corporation prior to the establishment of Talen Energy in June 2015, Talen Renewable Energy consists of a portfolio of 25 utility-grade clean power projects in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Vermont and New Hampshire, with a total of 65 megawatts of nameplate generating capacity. EPP Completes Acquisitions of McCommas Bluff Renewable Natural Gas Production Facility

Energy Power Partners (EPP), a clean power-focused private equity and infrastructure firm, announced that it has completed its acquisition of the McCommas Bluff renewable natural gas production facility located in Dallas, Texas. EPP purchased majority interests from Clean Energy Fuels, with the remaining interests retained by Cambrian Energy, a long-time strategic partner in the McCommas Bluff project and to EPP. EPP Completes Expansion of Otay Landfill Gas Project

LOS ANGELES, CA – September 30, 2013 – A fund managed by Energy Power Partners (“EPP”) announces the successful expansion of its operating power generation facility located at the Otay Landfill near San Diego, CA. The expansion was completed in August 2013 and will significantly improve the overall utilization of renewable natural gas produced at the landfill. EPP Closes Investment in Three U.S. Landfill Gas Projects

LOS ANGELES, CA – December 31, 2012 – A fund managed by Energy Power Partners (“EPP”) has announced the acquisition of interests in three operating landfill gas-to-energy (LFGTE) projects located in Indiana, Maryland, and Mississippi. The projects currently sell renewable gas under long term contracts to major regional off-takers.
